Construction of the new claimant to the world's tallest building started in 2005.
The Burj Tower is the focal point of a new city centre development covering over 200 hectares. As well as being responsible for structural, geotechnical and environmental impact aspects of the Tower, Hyder Consulting is responsible for the infrastructure design of the entire Burj District.
