2005
The Middle East's first indoor ski centre stands over 80 metres above the Sheikh Zayed Highway. Hyder Consulting was the structural and building services designer for the project, built as part of the Mall of the Emirates retail development.
Special structural materials enable the interior temperatures to be kept at a level suitable for artificial snow production.
